You can now give a Certificate of
Completion to your students. We suggest for the
" ______ hours" section that you record the
number of hours of spoken English practice.
Each student can keep a daily record of the number of hours
they practice spoken English. If, for
example, a student used her MP3 player to study for an
average of 1 ½ hours each day, five days a week for
three months, you would write "
90 hours"
on her Certificate of Completion. (1.5 x 5 x 4 x 3 =
90.) (You can copy this Assignment Calendar from
pages 87-88 of the Instructor's Guide.) This
is a valuable certificate for the student because it shows
a prospective employer that the student was actually
speaking English rather than merely writing
English exercises.
